Hi all,

I have interest to work in vietnam. However i need some information on the cost of living there. Can anyone please share their knowledge on how much will it cost for renting apartment and car there? Approximately?

Cheaper than Malaysia.

You can't rent cars without drivers.

As for cost of living ... you didn't indicate your needs. Whether you want to live like a king or a pauper.

If you got the idea of renting a car, surely you have no idea about HCM city. Driving a car around the city is quite not economical. Most roads are narrow, people are extremely crowded, and surely you have to squeeze yourself everyday on the street. Compact vehicle is best. Anyway, renting a car is charged roughly at $1000/month. And it varies by type of vehicle: toyota altis ($1090), Vios ($1050), Lacceti ($850)...
Renting an apartment! Well it's hard to tell exactly. I depends on what area you're interested in. In general: $250 - $400 can earn an tidy one bed-room in central places.
