I am an SAP consultant, I just got a job offer in iraq for BAsrah Gas Company, I wanna know how safe is it there? My contract will be with a big company in dubai, so i am gonna be going back n forth.
Is it worth it? Or is it too dangerous? I was told they would provide security but still, you never know what would happen.
Is it safe to work in Basrah?

I'm also applying with the same company. I just want to ask how were you interviewed since you are in Cairo. Were you hired though you're not in Dubai yet?
They said it's safer now in Iraq I am also researching on the safety in Iraq...

They provide hell of a security. A bullet proof jacket and live in PODs .... Say bye to the city life if you are planning to come over.
