Welding jobs for non-eu citizens

Hi

I know someone who wants to come here from Tunisia. They have a career in welding and would obviously like to get a job to secure their place here. Can anyone give me advice or tips of where to look etc? Thanks

Hi Claire,

the best places to look for a job as a welder are probably the ETC website and the Times of Malta classifieds on a Sunday.

I don't have much knowledge about the welding industry in Malta but as a non-EU citizen he would either need very good qualifications and/or there would have to be a shortage of Maltese/EU workers to allow employment in Malta

He would certainly need the appropriate welding certificates.
