Hi,
I got my BSC in Engineeting from Egypt.
What kind of registeration is required for my doc to be used in the states? American Embassy, Minstry of Exterior.

Is it mandatory to adjust my certificate?

depends on what you need. for some visa (such as H1B1) you need an evaluation of your degree.
if you enter graduate school you might need it as well. is it a 4-year or 3-year degree? for 3-year degrees it might be hard to get it evaluated as a bachelor.

i've never been asked to certify my foreign degree when I applied for jobs. for one job a background
check was required, and they just called my old university to verify the information.

anyways, if you do need an evaluation of your degree, i think the "Center for Educational Documentation" is the one you need to contact.
