yeah id say 1k sar would suffice, but 1500 would be optimal.  you are going to want to get out and explore im sure

i spend almost 80.SR for my Meals some times less sometimes more for standard resturents
On Taxi i spend 40.SR my work is near by.
i dont smoke But... these are my per day calculations

20 cigs are for 9.5 SAR (most good brands) calculate as per comsumption.

IMO you will need at least 1500-2000 SR. Meals will cost you at least 30-40 SR per day. 1 pack of ciggs / day + meals + small chips and drinks + taxi will take you up to about 2000 SR/month. It mostly depends on the habits but with 2000 you're safe.
