BUPA insurance acceptance in Libyan hospitals

Is there any information base available on the hospitals in Libya accepting BUPA clients for direct settlement of accounts.

According to my info only Aafia accepts BUPA directly, for all others you have to settle in cash and claim later.

Please advise if there is additinal info available on this.

Amir

MediLink clinic deal directly with both BUPA and CIGNA

Medilink is not a BUPA clinic, they will bill you.

Brothers Clinic and AlAfia are the only BUPA clinics here.

Well HH

Some expats where I work are with BUPA and others with CIGNA. The only time either are billed directly is when they have treatment for something that's not covered.

No doubt your company has a contract with Medilink for medical services, Medilink will invoice your company monthly.

Siddiqi, I suggest you check with Medilinkl

Thanks, medilink would be useful as it is very close to home. I have never visited the place since my information was along the same line as Harry's that they do not accept BUPA for direct settlement.

Will have to find out the truth on that one...........

Just received an email from St James Hospital that they are now providing emergency ambulance service on 24/7 basis. anyone has any feedback on that?

The only time I visited St. James was when my daugher broke her arm and they didn't even have a doctor on duty so they told me to go somewhere else.
