They may require you to bring the dog to the counter (as checked baggage) or to the dock (as shipping baggage, in this case you must arrive early to go through the necessary formalities). This is very important: don't wait until the last few days and expect the dog to travel along like a person. There may be a lot of complications with animals. You must prepare ahead of time.
