Research for television

Hello all,

I work for an independent television production company based in the UK and am currently conducting some research into eastern culture and how western families have adjusted to the Chinese way of life. I am interested to find out the experiences of those who have moved from the west (particularly the US and UK).

I'm focusing on a few main areas but all information people are able to provide is very useful!

The main areas I am looking in to are:

1. How long did it take you to get adjusted to the culture/way of life?
2. The major issues facing language barriers and how long it took before this was no longer an issue.
3. Education in the east (compared to western school systems).
4. The major problems faced when moving east.
