Best way to find an apartment in Krakow!?

Hey everyone,

i'm moving to Krakow at the end of september to go to the cracow university of economics.  I was wondering what the best resources are for finding an apartment?

thanks a lot,

Mike

Hello Mike.

Welcome to Expat.com! :)

In meantime, you can try to post an advert in the Housing in Krakow section. It might help.

Thank you,
Aurélie

Hello Mike,

For a newcomer? Interweb, obviously.
I generally don't recommend searching a flat/apartment/house thingie on your own especially if you don't speak Polish. Takes time, you call people who usually don't speak English very well, arranging meetings takes time and you have to speak Polish anyway as it's the language in which contracts are written.

I'd try a property agent/consultancy. Hamilton May* fits the bill.
property-krakow.com.

* For the record: I'm not affiliated with them in any way.

Hi,
you shouldn`t worry about finding a flat to rent. Most young people speak English so it`s not a problem anymore. Check our krakow.gumtree.pl webiste, there you`ll find both flats and rooms to rent. Go into Nieruchomosci/ Dom, mieszkanie do wynajecia.
I`m sure you`ll find sth for you, good luck!

PS If you need any help, feel free to write.
