General medicine in Dresden

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to get (private) health insurance for me and my daughters, but since I come from Eastern Europe I need to first be checked by a doctor who can confirm to the insurance agency that I am healthy (I'm already over the "it's so unfair" part and am trying to find a practical solution).

So, can anybody recommend a general medicine doctor in Dresden? Since I would have to pay the fee for this check, it should not be very expensive.

If the doctor would be of Romanian origins it would be great (my daughters only speak Ropmanian for the moment), although I'm aware that being the first Romanian that registered from Dresden in this network it's very unlikely to find such a person...

Thanks and wish you a wonderful day,
Ioaan

Hello Ioaan.

Welcome to Expat.com! :)

Hope you'll get some recommendations soon.

Thank you,
Aurélie

My first question seems quite unsuccesful, i mis-spelled my name. It's Ioana :-)
Eevrything else seems correct, though, looking forward to some replies :-)

The better private insurers have a budget for the initial check-up of new customers. It's worth asking yours (or changing to one that pays).
