Psychology prospects in Vancouver.

Hi All,
I am a Assistant Psychologist in the UK with a Masters degree in Forensic Psychology. I have over 3 years experience working with mental health clients in various secure and non secure settings. I wonder how difficult it would be to find an Assistant Psychologist post in Vancouver. I understand that within national healthcare settings (such as Vancouver Coastal Health) that it is necessary to have a Doctorate degree to practice in Psychology, although some employers it would seem, will hire Master's level students. However, my degree was studied via distance learning (e-learning)which I understand may also be a problem. I do hold current registration with the British Psychological Society and did have around 100 hours of campus taught programmes. Can anyone tell me what the present job market is like for psychologists/Assistants, and if my degree would likely be accepted?
