Has anyone had any problems with Real Estate agents in Bali?? I am hearing more and more that there are a few unscrupulous agents, causing an increasing amount of problems with expats. Any comments/experiences would be appreciated

Loads of problems. Bent agents selling property to exats even though they know expats can't legally own that property.
There have been a couple of cases where building permits haven't been applied for so demolished.

Loads of dodgy devils out there with an eye for your cash and no interest in your future.
One gentleman (I looked him up a while ago for a discussion on another forum), did a runner from Hawaii with a load of customer's cash and ended up in Bali.
Pretty good chance he's ripping customers off over here. I know he's in that business.
In other words, loads of sharks in the water - Careful where you swim.

Hi Mate, So called real estate agents here in Bali should be treated like a female Cobra snake on Heat, Do not believe any thing they say Better to deal through local knowledge and expats who can help without personal gain in mind I wasted 6 months talking to dishonest Dick Heads here in Bali even the big companies dont care about you the client ,
Its not like Australia with consumer affairs if you get taken you are the loser, NO COMBACK so be very, Very Careful of your Dollars
