An Expat.com meet up can be a diner gathering, having coffee, a bring and share in a nice place, a cultural or sports activity, etc. There are plenty of possibilities: just imagine a pleasant way to meet new people and old friends from Expat.com.
Feel free to organize Expat.com get-togethers in New Jersey: you would meet the other members in a friendly atmosphere and have a good time together!

I think this is a great idea Julien. I just came back from being in the middle east for a year. I was born and raised in Jersey and I know how hard it is to make friends when you're abroad. If anyone is interested I'm thinking of starting a group similar to what I had when I was abroad. It was great fun. if anyone's interested in sight-seeing, hiking, beaches, old-towns, NYC, etc. just let me know and maybe I can put something together. Looking forward to hearing back from the expats in Jersey.
