Well lived in bru for a month made no friends moved to gent i have a lovely circle of friends that keeps growing

There is expat meet-ups in Brussels, perhaps you should get yourself along to one of these expat nights out.

It's not really that hard making new friends. It's just what kind of person you are.
I am not shy but very outgoing. If you want to have new friends, you have to search and not being too lazy and wait for someone who is going to talk to you. Also it is important you go to the right places. Going to sports class or other workshops/courses will make it a lot easier to make some new friends.
I arrived here a week ago and made already 2 friends who are very nice. I didn't spend an evening alone!
