Hi I'm looking to get a strobe set for my underwater camera. The cheapest I can find of the likes of ebay is around $700. Has anyone had experience good or bad sending items through to the Maldives.

Any bad experiences with customs?

I really can't afford to get hit with another 20% duty!

if it is valued above 200$ on the invoice for most of the electronics they will apply a 15% duty, you can contact maldives customs and check if this item is duty free or if not what is the percentage.
