2 GUYS - ONE Camerooian ONE South African. Which way now?

We are 2 guys.  One Cameroonian and one South African.  It has taken over 3 months to get a visa from the SA Embassy in Cameroon.  They come up with so many excuses and if you don't persist - or get so tired after the 11th visit - they hope you will go away and  nothing will happen.

We are in a relationship and plan to get married soon so that we can both live in Cape Town in peace.  As a  Cameroonian he will be jailed for a minimum of 5 years because he gay.  So he needs to keep this very quiet so that his life is not in danger.  Please help with your best advice.

i advice the cameroonian to apply for a prvate visa , not as a couple ....sorry for him cos we dont accept that in cameroon.

What do you mean by "THAT"?

Hi wayneishappy

Sorry for the late reply - I would suggest that you apply for this in South Africa to avoid the legal issues you speak about in your home country. Take a holiday and plan it well. Permits are coming much faster out of Home Affairs now. You can search on Google and find many immigration companies that can help you - only accept the free advice from immigration lawyers - ignore the rest.

Good luck!
