Hello I have been living in Beijing for 18 months now. I am kind of sheltered now because that I am busy during the weekdays and don't get out much. On the weekends I go to Sanlitun to Swing bar to listen to music. I go to Lido area a lot for the same things. I like to play guitar as my hobby. I like to meet different people of all walks of life (Filipina, Chinese, German, English...etc. and enjoy the culture here.

If you don't get out much it will be hard to meet people. Now that the warmer weather is here, if there is interest, I will re-instate the monthlty Escape Concrete Beijing Daytrips.
And of course quite a few people attend the weekly Tuesday get-togethers that I arrange.
