I have had good experience with both public and private medical care. I have had public MRI in Thies. Most often I go to my private doctor for everything. Also go to private dentist (whose fees are far better than the US -- dental and medical) My daily medicines are also much cheaper here. I have never thought to buy health insurance because the cost here is so low.
