Unsure about citizenship

Hi there

I was born in Walvis Bay in 1971, when it was still part of South Africa.  My parents and I moved to SA when I was 14, so in 1985, and of course Walvis Bay became part of Namibia not long after that.

I am looking to move back to Namibia now and am unsure the citizenship issue.  Am I still a citizen of Namibia or do I need to apply?

I saw another post saying that I might well hold dual citizenship? I also have 2 sons and a fiance that I would be married to before we go back, what about them?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated

Your best bet is to go to the Namibian embassy where you are currently living or give them a call, they handle matters like this.From the top of my head Namibia doesnt allow dual citizenship, you will have to give up one...best to double check this.
