Which Visa? For move to US & start small business & keep UK bus & home

Hi
I'm looking to move to the US (FL) in the next few years but am not sure which Visa to apply for in order to have the best chance of success but at a reasonable cost).

I am financially stable & wont actually need to work as will be renting out my UK owned home & receiving income from managing my self employed UK business from the US & paying UK taxes (may be relevant).

But I am looking to set up the same type of (self employed?) business in the US in a specialist field ie Food Intolerance Testing, Nutrition and Diet Counselling. Which I am hoping may help my Visa status (due to the rare nature of Food Intolerance Testing in the US but there's a HUGE market for such a specialist skill in the health sector in the US).

I will have a US Licence to be an independent distributor of weight loss products & provide a weight loss counselling service (from my home or small hall with at least one US employee) from a US owned weight loss Co. This is what I already do in the UK for the same weight loss programme BUT the US & UK parent Co's are not connected any longer. SO I am effectively a franchisee for all intents and purposes).

I will also be providing the Food Intolerance Testing Service in the US and have invested in the equipment & attended the college to achieve the specialist qualifications. I will be speaking to local medical facilities eg hospitals, medical centres and medical colleges, with the intention of providing them with my Food testing skills.

I would appreciate any advice re the best way forward re Visa's as would like to start the ball rolling as know this takes some time.

Thanks in advance

come in on tourist visa and apply for full time after you get her. works fine!

Hi try a L2 new office visa. This means that you will be able to work and the visa is valid for 1 year after which you can renew it. It is a bit pricey but you will not regret it. You can expect problems if you do not have the correct visa. USCIS are a difficult bunch to work with if you want to stay and work.

Please fill me in on the meaning of "apply for full time after you get here" as we currently have a family member who ss touring the US on a tourist visa but wants to stay. We have looked into every possible visa but can't find one that can work. If you can explain your phrase it will be wonderufl cause we might miss something important.
