Hi Christine nice to see you. Latest news here, 5 days of mourning for Burundi following the terrible attack in Mogadishu against Africa Union Peacekeep troops. Very sad indeed.

Considering a move to Burundi. I have a few silly questions though.
1) How safe is it if you have children?
2) What type of upscale housing can you rent?
3) Are they in gated communites?

Ive travlled quite a bit through Africa and spent time with a friend of mine who works for the UN in Nairobi. I liked how he was living but I am a bit unsure if it would be similar in Burundi.
