Best city to live in south of france

Hi there,
Planning on moving to france and would love some advice? Do not  need a visa i think as i am spanish and my husband irish but want to move somewhere with prospects, a beautiful place with great weather too. Can you help please? Thank you! Anna

I am biased, but Montpellier is a marvellous city (250 000 inhabitants), medieval, with history in every stone, 30 minutes from the Mediterranean ;-)

Thanks a mill! Really appreciate it and definitely do some research on Montpellier and the job market there. Anna

There are lots of fine cities/towns in Southern France.
You should take a look at Aix-en-Provence and Avignon

Hi
we moved to the Cannes area 5 years ago and have never looked back!  Beautiful region plenty to do all year round.  As EU nationals you don't need visas to live & work here.  There are many international companies located in Sohpia Antipolis, which is surrounded by many lovely areas to live. You can have a great lifestyle here and its also a place where you can make friends with a diverse range of people.  We have met both Spanish & Irish people, among other nationalities!  good luck.
