i play MW and BF on Xbox360. Had no problem playing last time i was there. network is patchy at times. but it works as long as it is the ONLY thing on your network using bandwidth
I will buy PS3, once I'm there.. How is it when compared to the XBox 360 ?
I've only played games on PC and PS2..
i prefer the Xbox360 due to ability to find and interact with friends easier than the PS3. I have both, and i will be bringing my xbox360, and not my PS2.
I'll be buying a laptop also there.. That's my first gaming device
it may be cheaper to get one in your home country.
i found electronics are more expensive than america for sure
In Dubai electronic items are cheaper compare to India.
High end items? Like Macbook, and Fast laptops (dell XPS/Alienware type)

I'm planning to buy a Laptop, High end mobile phone (Galaxy Note / Xperia S) and PS2 / PS3 in Saudi.. I thought all along that everything is cheaper there !!!
Not to me it isnt
An ipod nano was 30USD more in saudi
Klipsch Headphones were aabout 25USD more
Macbook Pro laptop was 300USD more
and the list continues
OMG. KSA has stumped me even before i land there !!
BUT to be fair
Camera gear is a LITTLe cheaper
Canon 5dmk2 was 300USD Cheaper than US.
BUT it was only at one shop
I also got a camera backpack for roughly 50% of the USD price, and a tripod for about 30% cheaper than USD. Authentic items (lowepro and manfrotto)

Stupidity of many saudi will stump you even more. trust me
Good for you FLS. It seems like I need to re-think everything I know about this country. And not to believe anything unless I experience it myself.
I love the country. Just the mentality of some of the people make it less than plesant at times.
but most of the stuff you may want jarir has online prices for. and some of hte Mac retailers have online prices as well. Check it out and compare to your home country.
I checked Jarir Book Store online. Everything was costlier than in India.. Is that the best price one can get Laptops / Smartphones / PS2 / PS3 for ??
Any other stores which has prices online ?
Jarir i BELIEVE is the largest. You can haggle at markets a little but, but not by much. most phone prices (especially new/desireable ones) are not really negotiable
