I am moving to Quito the middle of May and would appreciate any information on health care, should I get a plan before I leave Canada or wait until I arrive in Ecuador.

Hope some replies to this. I would like to retire in Quito myself, but need to know what kind of health care is available and how much it costs. Are the hospitals good (I live in Toronto, Canada).
