I have lived in Shanghai over 6 years, and now I am being offered a position in Ningbo, never been to this city, and was wondering about the life expenses there.
Normally what's the cost of an apartment?
Which areas are recomended to live in?
Hows the transprotation? Metro? Bus? Taxi?
Food expenses, in average both for chinese and non chinese restaurants?
Utilities (water, gas, electricity)?

Hey
I am living in ningbo from past 9 months. I loved it. The food is little salty but very delicious. The house rent for single apartment is 555RMB. I think its not very expensive. The transportation is good, 2 RMB. There are many places to see around NingBo. There are also good shopping center's.
