If your based in UAE, then you really don't need a specialist arabic speaker to communicate and practise with. Just go to a books store, and buy yourself a normal English-Arabic translator. Once your socializing with people, it will be easy for you to pick up words.

It's not a tough language, but obviously difficult to understand first.

you can join the meet up group in Dubai. The concept is Arab speakers practice their enlgish and english speaker lear arabic... very nice groupe... cheers
