So, had a great 3 week visit to Ecuador last year and loved every minute of it but..... then I read about how beautiful the coast of Uruguay is. Love to hear about what everyone loves about Uruguay... Let me know.... thank you in advance...

I've never been to Ecuador. The beaches in Uruguay are beautiful. The people are the nicest on the planet. However, the water is not warm. The weather was a little breezy too - chill,Jan.

Hi Freedom,
Someone described Uruguay beaches to me once and said they were a little like Southern California... Those can be chilly at times too. I am pretty sure Uruguay is seasonal too, unlike Ecuador which is warm most all the time because of its proximity to the equator.... George
