I want to get some gifts for my family and friends in India.

Please suggest places where I can get Kuwaiti traditional stuffs?

Souk Al Mubarakiya, in Kuwait City, its near the bank buildings, specifically Gulf Bank and the Stock Exchange. there are shops there that sell traditional Kuwaiti gifts such as metal works, small boats, clothings etc.

specifically the shops i have in mind are located around an Indian Vegetarian restaurant in Kuwait city, its called Green something, cant recall the something, sorry :S

You can also find some nice traditional Kuwaiti gifts and souvenirs at Al Manshar in Fahaheel, right across Al Kout mall. The little shops there are planning on moving to Old Salmiya Souq, where the Family Bookshop was demolished.

Thanks Legacy & Sahar El, next week I will check them out next weekend. Thought of going out today but the weather has ditched me

I am new to Kuwait, hardly know any places or have any freinds.
