Hi Everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone could help me with my application for an Australian Citizenship by Descent. If anyone has experienced applying for one and if you've encountered any problems? Just so i know exactly what to do when i apply. Plus, i'm married and was wondering if i should apply with my married name or maiden name? Thanks to anyone who can help me out

hello,

my son was born in Philippines 4 years agi and I did apply a citizenship by descent for him. It was easy for me. Just have to comply all the necessary requirements. My husband and I were married before he was born but I still did use my single name. I already had my passport so i didnt bother changing my single name into my married name. Everything went ok for us.

By the way, which city in australia are you going to live?
I am in melbourne.
