We are currently putting an application for fiance visa. Irish and Colombian couple. Any advice? I am uncertain whether it is best thing to do. It is suppose to take less than a year to get it..
I have a 176 skilled visa.

Did you type that visa # correctly? Visa 457 is not a fiance visa but a temporary business visa : http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/skilled-workers/sbs/
Check out the Australia's Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) website at immi.gov.au
But in your case to determine which visa to look at, click on http://www.immi.gov.au/visawizard/
