Hi
Im looking for a private driver for 23rd - 29th Feb

Any suggestions and cost? I dont need a Mercedez or what not
Apparently the avergage wage for VN is 4 mil a month now which is $185 USD and Im sick of getting ripped of in Vietnam.

Hi,

That prices sounds about right, but that usually don't included the price of gas and car rental. Also if you need the driver to speak english too that would cost extra. Are you planning on going on a trip somewhere out of the city?

It is customary to pay foe the drivers food AND, if out of town overnight the cost of his economy accommodation - better hotels have driver accommodation.

Write everything in a contract, in English translated to VN, you will save a lot of hassles.

A lot of private (pirates, too) taxi drivers will give you fixed rates based on time/distance.

Mai Lihh also have upscale, unmarked cars with driver for rent.
