Job Title and Visa Title different

Hi

I am a software engineering working in US. I have been offered a job in KSA in one of the bank. The bank has send me visa papers and i could see that the title of the job is financial analyst which is not matching my qualifications (engineering)

I could see that the offer letter is attested with MEA and chamber. I have contacted the employer and they told that
since the offer is letter is  attested with chamber of commerce, MOFA it should not have an isue in visa stamping.

I am planning to quit my US job this week for saudi stamping and would like to know if this will cause any issue ?

Can this be resolved by showing the offer letter attested?

Will there be any isuse in future if i need to take my family to kingdom ?

Since i need to resign from my current job this week, Any knowledge or experience in these matters would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Naseer M

This difference is usual. Many people here have their profession different than their educational qualification/profession.

About visa stamping: You'll face a problem probably. Unfortunatly nothing could be said certain till you actually get the visa stamped on your passport. Why don't you put off your job quitting decision for now & wait for the visa process to complete?

The 'Financial Analyst' is a good profession to have in Iqama but 2 concerns here:

- All accounting/finance fields are swiftly being saudilized.
- As the profession doesn't match with your edu qualifications, you may face trouble in getting the family visa.

Thanks for your quick reply.

Since am in US and Visa stamping is in India , need to quit the current job for Stamping. Other wise I have to again get the US Visa stamped from chennai and whcih will increase the complaications

My employer and agent told that since the offer letter is attested and approved from chamber of commerce, MOFA  there shoulnt be an issue. Is that correct?

Also if i get a written email from saudi employer that they will take care of the issue . Will that be fine ?

Thanks

Reviewed your original post again ::

The attestation on offer letter from chamber of commerce & MOFA will Inshallah help. Saudi embassies abroad generally respect letters from business organizations.

In case they object (low chances though) on the compatibility of edu to the profession, a letter from your company to embassy will sort things out. Any emails written by employer to YOU won't help in my view (coz visa has to be stamped by the embassy, not by the employer).

Great Input TheLegendLeads !!!

Thanks a lot for your excellent feedback. I have one last question.

I have planned to resign from here and go to India for saudi visa stamping (since i dont have any other option) . In case the Visa get rejected , what will the documents I can request from the employer to get it cleared to get my Visa.

Thanks for your suppport.

Thanks

Glad to be of help.

Such communication is usually between the company and the embassy directly and the visa applicants are not involved.

In case, they advise you so, you'll need a letter from your employer (attestations from Chamber of Commerce recommended) that will state that they've evaluated you against the job requirement and you are a fit. And then a request to them to facilitate and expedite the visa process. Please attach your application copy and the copies of documents you had attached with it.

I hope this helps.

Friends,
Any help will be highly appreciated.
I have job offer from SABIC.
I am an instrument engineer ,interviewed for the position of instrument engineer and  selected for the same position that is INSTRUMENT Engineer.
But when original offer letter received  with signature of Saudi chamber of commerce, job title was INSPECTION engineer instead of instrument engineer.
I told the consultant to change my job title from inspection to instrument engineer from SABIC.
They insisted that it won't affect my job or job role as instrument engineer in SABIC.I will be working as instrument engineer only in SABIC.
My fear is if SABIC treating me mistakenly as  INSPECTION engineer then.
I am not able to trust the consultant and don't have any contact with SABIC.
I am from India.
Please help

Dear its just a profession through witch your visas had been issued for this bank. Although its not your required Profession but its enough to come here in Saudia. You may work on the desire position but its just a paperwork to bring you here. But one thing more the same profession should be pasted on your Iqama (work permit also) also. No matter what you are doing while living in Saudi Arabia. In paper works your profession should be the same that presently on your visa. But One thing take one copy save always along u. visa, job Offer, etc... best of luck.

Leaving the job in USA and joining in KSA is not advisable due to various reasons such as social activities and othr living conditions etc.

As far as VISA is concerned absolutely there is no problem. Because laour office does no issue any VISA as per the categories requested by the company or company requirements. The processing will be done by the agent with the letter and other informations.

Good luck

No guys are sitting here. Use better language and respect others. Do you think that people are your room mates, class mates, office mates working on the same table or persons working under you

I am sorry if I have offended anybody. In my post I haven't ordered anyone instead I have used the word please everytime nor have I been disrespectful to anyone here

I have greeted everybody with a hi, thanked in advance and then gone ahead with my query. I haven't ordered anybody just requested using d word please.

I sent u a message coz going through d forum I saw ur very knowledgeable. And in contrast I am d one whose been sent a rude reply.

And sir I am very sorry to say even if u have misunderstood my request for an order, u could have cleared the same in a good kind manner.

And Mr.Sashidharanji in d personal message I have referred to u as Sir which I feel is respectful.
Only over here I have used d word guys to greet everybody in d thread discussion.

And that is not disrespectful nor an order. Anyways I don't want to drag the issue more

I have justified my stand. And woud really appreciate if any of the dear members on this thread could please help me with my query

Thanking you in anticipation.

Best regards,
Sanjay Tank
