Medical Insurance companies runs here as it runs in USA.

Actually you need to go website of major medical insurance in Malaysia E-mail your questions and they will respond to you promptly.

AMA /PRUDENTIAL and many more Medical Insurance all is there.

ING works like this  - prices are for the top level of cover on the cashless system i.e you just give the hospital your card they call ING for approval .you don't pay first and claim later.

@ 64 years old - RM 3319 (USD 1095)p.a
@ 65 - 69 - RM 4342 (USD 1433)p.a
@ 70 - 74 - RM 6296 (USD 2077) p.a

Hi recently moved to Penang from the UK and need to arrange health cover for family of 4: 2 adults female 48, male 51 and  2 children aged 10 & 12.Any recommendations as I have contacted a couple of companies mentioned in various forums but just never hear anything back.

I am from Penang. You may contact me should you need information on health insurance, medical cards, life and critical illness coverage.

The hospitals that are at Penang includes, The Adventist Hospital, Loh Guan Lye, Gleneagles Medical Center, Island Hospital, Lam Wah Yee, Pantai Hospital, KPJ Hospital, Bagan Specialist Center, Mount Mariam Cancer.

The Bagan Specialist and KPJ are located at the mainland while the rest are on the island itself.

Your agent should be able to arrange that for you. I got my medical and insurance done WITHOUT even showing up for it at any clininc last week. But medical is really cheap in Malaysia. If you do not have an agent, I could recommend mine but only if you want.
