Spot on! We thought your descriptions amusing but they hit the nail on the head. We were horrified at some of the new developments where the new owner, after paying top price, still had to make the apartment habitable. The agents offered to help, but for an exorbitant fee. Another reason to be in Malta when deciding on your new home is to see the neighbourhood. Some pleasant looking advertised apartments are in rather unkempt or industrial areas and an exterior view of the building is never shown.
