It's quite hard to find an apartment for 4 months privately unless you stumble across someone temporarily leaving Brussels who wants to rent out their place whilst away - there is one such person who replied to a recent thread offering an apartment, take a look.

The easiest way to get a short term let is to use an agency. The cheapest i have found is Home in Brussels which provide serviced apartments, or more basic rooms / apartments at the 2nd link.

I just found an advert for this place which had been placed on xpats.com..... individual rooms with en-suite bathrooms and shared living room and kitchen.
