Have you tried the sports shops around in Colombo?  I am sure you would be able to get one - try the Singer Mega - there is one located at Mt Lavinia and I am sure there would be others around in Colombo.

There is another place on Kynsey Road that has these fancy stuff and they may be able to advice.

Good luck with the garden furniture as well but guess teak outside in the garden would be too expensive. 

You could get some rattan chairs (comfy) at a place near the Eros Cinema in Colombo 6 (really Pamankade Bridge area).  There is a shop at the bend that sells rattan furniture.
