is it popular to share a flat in Shizuoka ?
What advice would you give to those looking for shared accommodation in Shizuoka?
Can you recommend specialized local websites or newspapers?
By the way, keep in mind there is a flat share/house share section in the Classifieds

THat would really depend on who you will be sharing the flat with. I got feedback from several locals (from my students, though) that people in Shizuoka are not very friendly at all... Well, I guess that's only a misinterpretation of their fear in speaking English... but I guess sharing a flat with another foreigner would be okay...
