What advice would you give to those looking for shared accommodation in Cape Town?
Can you recommend specialized local websites or newspapers?
By the way, keep in mind there is a flat share/house share section in the Classifieds

I still have about eleven months before I'll be moving to Cape Town (for grad school), but I've started looking at flats and house shares online to get a feel for everything. I've found Gumtree South Africa to be especially helpful. I'm from the U.S., and it is similar to our Craigslist. There are a lot of places advertised in every location I've looked, so it will definitely be one of the sources I use when finalizing housing once I'm finally on my where there.
