Bloodtest required for visa?

Hi

I'm considering coming to Korea to teach (tefl) but I see the visa process will involve a medical on arrival in Korea.

Can someone tell me if this will involve a bloodtest?

I have terrible needle phobia and so if bloodtest is required I will have to look elsewhere.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

Yes there will be a blood test for drugs and other stuff. Add to that a urine test and xrays etc. It's a full medical, I too am very shy of needles, the nurses here were very good and it didnt hurt at all. I was very impressed.
