One week at Istanbul

hello All
i am planing to visit Istanbul at the first quarter of 2012 with my wife
wish to find some help for rent small, good and cheap apartment at Istanbul
just need it for spend the night there and keep my luggage sure i will spend All day to go around and visit the town
any one has any suggestion for me?
also any one can advise me by best places to visits and some good activity there?

Hi amaraki.

I met a few people, backpackers they where, they recomended me a website called couchsurfing.com. I checked it out it looks reliable. google that and find out if that suits you. It would depend how long you will stay though, I guess.
