Hi,
Does anyone know of any English speaking groups or social events such as a book-clubs, pilates, table quiz nights etc going on in Berlin??

there's a really surreal book shop called 'another country' which is near U7 - stop Gneisenaustr. We've been there a few times, cause it's just hilarious. they do all you can eat nights for 5€ on a Friday, Quiz - nights, movie-nights-just really quite a little community.
Then there is the Wednesday-night-international-boat-party. It's a boat with a youth hostel on it (think it's called eastern comfort) on the river near warschauer strasse. loadsa internationals meet, speak english, drink beer and listen to some live music gigs.its interesting.
don't really know of much else, to be honest -although theres bound to be more.maybe keep me informed if you hear of anything else.
