What's the Cost of living in Maputo? What are the normal benefits available for expat employees?
I am a chartered Accountant and getting an offer from Mozambique. Can someone advise about the salary structure?

Hi,
the cost of living in Maputu can be quite expensive, especially if you are use to good and healthy living in South Africa.
Your company should pay for your accommodation, as this is rediculously expensive in Mozambique, as well as transport. You will need a 4 x 4 as the roads are not suitable for normal cars.
We drive out to Nelspruit once a month to buy Groceries and medicines. Local food are cheap in Maputo. Anything else is pricey.
