One of my acquaintances from India is getting some job offers here in Malaysia. However the placement agency says that he needs to pay for the work permit.
There are some things I need to know on his behalf
1) What is the cost of the work permit ( He is from India)?
2) Can the permit issued prior to receiving an offer letter from the company in India?
3) Is there any way to check the employers credentials?
