I will be working in Aalborg for two years starting from January 2011 and am looking for a place to live in the area with my husband and our dog. We will be moving from the US in December. I have been sending emails to properties I found on websites and have not heard anything back yet. Any tips to find an apartment in Denmark (or in Aalborg) will be appreciated! Thanks!

Why don't you try to rent a holiday house near Aalborg? I did this when I moved to Denmark with my two dogs. Try to arrange a long term stay.
