I will ask my friend to contact the place where I stayed and then I'll pass it along to you.

I spent a number of weeks there, and on at least 2 occasions was out  late with him. I saw no  evidence of crime, although I did not go into a part of town that I was warned about (across the river).

There had been a murder 2 years before I got there, but the talk was that the American had made a pass at a girl; that was the talk; I cannot vouch for the  truth.

For the past 35 years, I have not visited a bar nor club
If the sun doesnot shine, I am indoors
I was thinking of Granada, but I heard it's too much EXPATS
And I think that will attract more crime
Maybe if this works out ok, then I may think of relocation
