1. House rent in Adis Ababa for a 2 bedroom house

500 USD

2.Food Expenses for a family of two.

200 USD

3.Availability of good housing.

You got money you got house it might go up until 1000 usd

4.Cost of living in Adis Ababa.

If you think in USD it is cheap, if you earn in Birr it kind of expensive! if you earn 1,500 -2,000 usd you will live like a royal family! Cheers!!!!

with 1500 USD you will not live like a royal family, rent prices have gone up and as a foreigner you will neve get the same price as ethiopians,
rent at least 350 dollars for  small house, but nowadays, prices are more in the range of 500-700 dollars, and in Bole area at least 800, in fact 1000 dollars is almost the norm

if you only buy local food produce and cook at home, you will be able to feed yourself with 150 -200 dollars per month, but before you get to that you will have to buy pots and other kitchen utensils, if you want good quality it is not cheap.

housing is available, but you will have to search for a while, as there are many awful houses on the market, especially bathrooms are usually in very bad condition

cost of living, it is cheaper than Europe or the US, but still no cheap, and the current inflation rate is 40%, so all the prices are increasing daily.
