I'm curious to know what islands and parts of Hawaii have the greatest concentration of mainlanders living there? I am hoping to move there in several months with girl and baby, and we want to do business and interact with a lot of expats. Any insight would be helpful, as well as the other pros and cons of each area. I am from Southern California originally, but have traveled a lot.

Hi livefree! Well the Hawaiian Islands are full of military bases, thus people from all over the mainland. Do a googlemaps search! I'd say there is a fair population of mainlanders residing in Kauai, Maui, Hawaii, and Oahu especially. Oahu, then Maui, and lastly Kauai have the most mainlanders or Haoles! Good luck with your new adventures, I sure do miss da Islands brah!
