Hi Armand,
I just arrived in the city, but have been using the local metro and bus system quite easily. All the information you need is on the RTM webpage here:
http://www.rtm.fr/
If you don't speak much French yet then use your Google translator to read the page in your language.
**Does anyone else have information on how to obtain a "Le Pass 30 Jours" Transpass card? I do not have my Carte de Sejour yet, so I cannot apply for "Le Pass permanent" yet.
