Hi me my partner and our three young kids ages 4 months to 4 years are planning on moving to Belize. We are wondering of the dangers raising young children there especially with the health care. I also wonder about the dangers of animals especially snakes and crocodiles. Any insight would be helpful thanks.

Thousands of children are raised in Belize, and they're some of the happiest and politest kids I've ever met. Your children are the perfect age for something like this since they haven't developed strong ties yet with schools or friends.
The medical system here is only so-so. Most children here use the local doctors fine for the most part for illness & injury, but with a serious illness or something, Belize isn't sophisticated enough. Having said that, you can travel to Mexico or Guatemala for care if you need to, or keep some kind of international travel insurance.
