Can anyone living in Chiang Rai give me some "down to earth" opinions about conditions in my prospective retirement site ? Chiang Rai is not a mis-spelling

By the way, I was there only a couple of weeks ago (on holiday) and I really loved it. Unfortunately my stay was way too short!

Note : Unfortunately there is no specific forum for Chiang Rai.

But you might eventually roam the forum Chiang Mai to gather some information as the two provinces are near and [I suppose] quite similar to what concerns environment, living style, etc. It will give you a first idea.
